Summer Evening and Bring Your Own Lunch
Cruises in July & August
Pawtucket, RI — In addition to its regular public tours
on Sundays @ 1, 2, 3 & 4 pm., in July and August, The
Blackstone Valley Tourism Council is offering Summer Evening
Cruises aboard the Explorer on Wednesdays through August 20
at 6:00 pm as part of our Broad Street International Food
Tour. Bring your own lunch cruises will also be offered on
Monday, July 14, and every Wednesdays, July 9 through August
13 at 12:30 pm.
The 45-minute afternoon Bring your own lunch cruise
explores the wetland bird habitat of the Valley Falls Marsh
and the surrounding historic landscape. Ticket prices are
$10.00 for adults, and $8.00 for children and seniors on the
45-minute cruise.
The Wednesday night International Broad Street Food Tour
includes a 6 pm River Cruise followed by an International
Meal at one of our ethnically diverse neighborhood
restaurants which includes a “Meet the Chef” demonstration
at 8 pm. Tickets for the package is $30 adults and $20 for
children 12 and under. Visit the website

you wish to sign up for just the river cruise aboard the
Blackstone Valley Explorer tickets are $10 for adults and $8
for children.
Valley Falls Marsh, RI’s largest freshwater marsh, and
Lonsdale Marsh, a RI habitat restoration project, is a haven
for swallows, blue heron, and other waterfowl, both resident
and migratory. Binoculars are available, or you may bring
your own. Insect repellent is recommended.
The Blackstone Valley Explorer is also available for
summer camp programs, corporate charters and groups of 20 or
